• Recursive DNS: Configured a Raspberry Pi running Pi-hole paired with Unbound, serving as the local recursive DNS resolver. Bypassed upstream third-party DNS trackers for total query privacy.
• Security & Traffic Control: Implemented DNSSEC validation and aggressive custom blocklists. Tuned cache and thread settings to optimize sub-millisecond query responses across the local network.
• Remote Access & Bridging: Configured Tailscale in Docker for secure subnet routing and remote VPN access to local dashboards. Repurposed an M4 MacBook Pro into a headless, always-on server bridge for seamless remote desktop accessibility.
